1. Introduction :

ETB-0686 glossmeter is in compliance with international standard ISO2813,ASTM D523 and state standard GB9754-88,GB9966.5.

The device meets JJG696-2002 standard (Lens Luster Degree Instrument Measure Test Regulations).

4. Usage Method : 

To turn on the device press the RED button

Choose the projecting angle, the screen scroll displays 20°, 60°and 85° triangle degree, press the “OP” key to confirm angle choice when the targeted angle displaying on the roll display according to the measurement needs (Single angle instrument without this operation)

When the instrument prompts “adjustment operation” , “CAL OK?” is displayed in the screen, make the instrument measure window pointing at the adjustment panel, press the YELLOW key to confirm adjustment operation, the instrument identify the adjustment panel automatically, and adjust automatically , there is buzz sound after finishing it

After finishing adjustment operation, the instrument is entering into the measure state. Put the instrument on the measured sample, appoint the measure window to the measured object, press the YELLOW key, the instrument starts to measure, the luster degree value of the measured object will display on the screen while there is buzz sound, please note that the sample should be leveled off

To turn off press RED button. If there is no acitivity after 5 minutes, the device will automatically shut down
